Sara Rossling is an independent curator and writer with an MA in Curating Art from Stockholm University. She has a background in Art History and previous experience of working as a designer. Rossling has an interest in cross-disciplinary thinking, sustainability, and artistic response to societal issues. She mostly works with research-based art projects, exhibitions, public art, Artist-in-Residence, and writing. In addition to self-initiated projects, she takes freelance commissions for art institutions, art schools, and companies within art. Since June 2020, Rossling is the chairman of NKF.


Recent curatorial work includes Konstväxlingar Skanstull 2020-2021, a public art programme in the metro showing video and film; a digital version of Iaspis Open Studios, Autumn 2020; exhibition text for Amina Zoubir's exhibition at Södertälje konsthall; the programme at Iaspis Open Studios Spring 2020; Making Matters Visible, symposium at Jordbro Culture Centre in Haninge, co-curated together with Public Art Agency Sweden (2020); UNDER SKIN, solo exhibition with artist Marcia Kure at Rutiga Golvet, Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm (2019); Ottilia Adelborg Revisited, group exhibition at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm (2019); Unfold a place, group exhibition at the Ottilia Adelborg Museum in Gagnef (2019); OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! / !SDAEH RIEHT HTIW FFO, group exhibition at the OFF Biennial Something Else in Cairo, co-curated with Power Ekroth (2018); Co-founder of GAIR, an Artist-in-Residence programme in rural Gagnef, Dalarna investigating culture heritage through the lens of contemporary art practices (2016).
