I am a curator, art consultant, and art writer living in Malmö. I engage with the personal, bodily, environmental, and historical ramifications of sites through artists' work across contexts and generations. My curatorial practice is sensitive to artistic processes and circulating dialectic relationships between aesthetics, living creatures, practices, power structures and environments that bring valuable perspectives to my work with exhibitions, writing and public art. I'm interested in putting art and the transformative potential of the art experience at the centre by creating space for artists to develop their work and by showing art's relevance in society.
Over the years, I have curated and co-curated exhibitions, public programmes, and public art in historic venues, and in museums and art spaces in Sweden and internationally. Previously, I have worked at institutions such as IASPIS, the Public Art Agency Sweden, the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, and Kristianstads konsthall. In addition, I have initiated and co-run residencies and research-oriented programmes in various formats. I value collaborations, colleagues, interdisciplinary contexts and learning processes.
I have a BA in Art History and an MA in Curating Art, both from Stockholm University. I have been granted several grants for projects and research grants in areas like Sápmi, Lebanon, and the Baltics. In 2022, I was awarded a residency in New York with CPR (Curatorial Program for Research). Currently, I serve on the board of (NKF) the Nordic Art Association in Stockholm, and between 2020-2022 I was the chairperson. I also serve as the selection committee for the Swedish Association of Curators 2024.
My website shows a selection of exhibitions and projects. My CV can be sent upon request.
